Over 300 traditional birth attendants in the Northeast of Haiti are excited to get training and save lives of mothers and babies as they improve their skills. They receive delivery kits upon completion of a one week training, and also have a complete medical check up before leaving. We train 30 participants each year. Our third trip is coming up July 20-31st, 2018. News of protests and violence in the capital are a bit discouraging, but all is calm in the north and we will be departing as planned. Would you pray for safety and necessary resources? Your contribution facilitates travel of trainers and equipping midwives for safe deliveries. This training is done with the help of our sister organization Medical Ambassadors International and their Women’s Cycle of Life Program Director.
